Windows 8 has gone over like a lead balloon. Users find the Windows 8 interface difficult to navigate and have trouble finding their applications.
Surprisingly, Microsoft made a drastic change to the operating system and didn’t give users a way to hang on to the older interface from Windows 7. Ok, maybe that’s NOT surprising! I guess they didn’t learn much from the flop that was Windows Vista.
This article by The Independent says that Microsoft will come out with a revamped operating system that will offer the “traditional” Start Menu. I’ll check it out, and MAYBE… I’ll sell computers with it. So far, I have not sold a computer or laptop with the Windows 8 interface!
